As with all of P. Mauriat's Rolled Tone Hole models, their truly unique rolling process uses the saxophone's existing material; unlike rolled tone holes of the past, there is no soldering here, the tone holes are drawn from the body and then rolled over allowing for superior resonance thorughout the entire saxophone and increased response in all ranges. P. Mauriat have also enlarged the bell to compliment an already warm, fat sound. The PXMA-66RCL gives the player a new and unique look and feel as well as free response. The instrument is very uniform in all registers with outstanding intonation quality. This custom model is great for all artists who are looking for the sound with real personality for either classical or jazz settings.
