My Mowhawk is on hiatus
|Musical Interests||I really try to expose myself to as big a variety of music as possible. There’s always something new to listen to, and always something to learn!|

I began playing snare drum in my elementary school band before moving up to drum set in middle school. Drummers like Dave Grohl (Nirvana), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers), and Vinnie Paul (Pantera) were a big influence on me when I was just starting out on drum set. In high school I played in almost every music program on offer, including the concert and symphonic bands, jazz big band and jazz combo bands, marching band and drum line.
Since then I've jumped in bands playing several styles ranging from singer/songwriter to thrash metal and everywhere in between, and currently play in an original rock trio called Prettier In Person that I've been with for years as well as a cover/wedding band called The Excellent Drivers.
I was first exposed to Chuck’s in elementary school. My band director was a frequent customer, so of course our band was given Washington Music Center branded folders, and encouraged to visit the store for instrument rentals and purchases. The recommendations continued through middle and high school, but for some reason I never made the journey. Later when I decided I wanted to really take my drumming seriously, I finally decided to make the trip. I met Darren Zentek that day in 2009 and loved that he was every bit as passionate and knowledgeable as I could have imagined. I only regretted that I hadn’t made the trip sooner! Fast forward several years and Darren invited me to join the sales team at the Drum Counter here at Chuck’s. I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the team here and look forward to continue Washington Music Center’s legacy of excellence.
